World Space Week 2023 | SPACE QUIZ
World Space Week is an international celebration of science and technology, and their contribution to the betterment of the human condition. The United Nations General Assembly declared in 1999 that World Space Week will be held each year from October 4-10. These dates commemorate two events:
- October 4, 1957: Launch of the first human-made Earth satellite, Sputnik 1, thus opening the way for space exploration
- October 10, 1967: The signing of the Treaty on Principles Governing the Activites of States in the Exploration and Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, including the Moon and Other Celestial Bodies.
Rules and Regulations for the Quiz
1. Quiz Format:
– The quiz consists of a total of 30 questions.
– Participants will have a maximum of 30 minutes to complete the quiz.
2. Scoring:
– There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
3. Retakes:
– Participants are not allowed to retake the quiz. Each participant is eligible for one attempt only. For retake you have to pay the fees INR 10 again.
4. Certificate Requirement:
– To qualify for a certificate, participants must score 60% or above in the quiz.
5. Participation Fees:
– The participation fee is INR 10 per quiz attempt. After the submission of the fees, please wait for 1 minute, you will redirect to quiz page.
6. Prizes:
– The top three winners of the quiz will have a chance to win prizes up to INR 10,000.
– Prize distribution details will be communicated to the winners.
7. Winner Announcement:
– The winners will be officially announced on October 25th, 2023.
8. Organizer’s Decision:
– The decisions made by the quiz organizers are final and binding.
